• The work will involve learning Client products and technical specs.
• It will require data entry in various applications by using various means (manually, excel, SQL, etc.).
• This role should be oriented to details and data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Database Management and Coordination: Serve as the primary coordinator for the GSDB database (Client proprietary DB application), working with internal and external teams to ensure its effective operation. Responsibilities include overseeing the collection, data entry, and verification of product data.
• Cross-Departmental Communication: Develop and maintain communication with various departments to collect necessary data and resolve any product-related issues. This role demands proactive problem-solving and information collection skills.
• Data Presentation and Reporting: Utilize Microsoft Excel for preparing and updating various data sheets crucial for product management. Assist in crafting PowerPoint presentations to clearly communicate data trends and insights.
• Documentation and Tool Maintenance: Contribute to the creation and regular updating of documentation for our product selection tools. This includes revising guidelines, procedures, and related materials.
• Meeting Coordination: Plan and conduct meetings with internal and external stakeholders to discuss database updates, address concerns, and strategize on data management and tool improvements.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain the accuracy and reliability of data within the GSDB database. Engage actively in the product release process by ensuring data integrity and adherence to company standards.
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve issues identified through JIRA tickets related to the GSDB promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in database management or a similar field. (SQL, Excel, XML, VBA)
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and experience in creating PowerPoint presentations. (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams. (Outlook email and Calendar management)
• A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
• Knowledge of JIRA or similar issue-tracking systems is advantageous.
• Ability to learn Client Products and Software Tools.
